Pen Friend !!

Hey Everyone ! Its been quite sometime since I last posted in my blog, so before starting I would like to apologize for the delay.

So, now that you all have read the header, I am quite sure many of you have had Pen Friends, so I thought why not share my experience of having one as well!

This is about the friend I have had for quite sometime now. ( Since I don't want to disclose the person's identity, for convenience lets call the person "A" )

"A" added me on a social networking site, through a mutual friend. Unlike my thoughts regarding how this friendship will turn out to be, whether we will have anything to talk about, whether the awkwardness (of not meeting a person and yet writing to each other) will persist or not , I realized that it is actually just my misconception. "A" is a very nice person, never forgets the limit , never does something that might offend me. Since we both are from the same study background, I often seek A's help in a variety of study related issues. Its really sweet of "A" to not get angry and annoyed with all the nagging I do!! I know now that even though we have never met, if I face any trouble or seek help, "A" will not back out from lending a helping hand.

Its funny how some of my friends find it absolutely insane and cannot figure out how we are still talking to each other without meeting. But I  know that I cannot  really explain it to them. :)

However, I would like to wrap it up now. I know there are many of you out there who have pen friends too. So please feel free to write a comment or share it !

Have a Great Day Ahead everyone!!
With love ~  V_RinkiD_V

Nail Paint Trouble!!

Have you ever gone crazy while shopping for your nail paint and failing to find the accurate color shade?
I have!

Today I visited the mall to buy a chalk white nail paint required for French manicure. I went there at around 11:30 am, and considering the time, I assumed that all the shops would have opened and would be  ready to receive customers. But instead what do I see?  The shops haven’t opened yet! I mean – what is effing wrong with you people. It’s already 11:30 am and you lazy bunch of people still need to set up your shops!

After waiting for a while, now that the shops are opened, the bigger problem awaits. What is it?
Off course finding the exact shade of nail color! So when I ask the shopkeeper , “Give me a white nail paint used for French manicure” , I don’t understand why it becomes so difficult for him to give me a white nail paint.
He starts showing me shiny white, glittery white, some non-white shades even, basically anything other than the shade I need! In spite of my denial, he goes on displaying a wide varied of all the unwanted colors in front of me!
So I go searching for it in some more shops and thankfully one shop had the shade i was looking for! :)

But this is not the first time that I have encountered this problem.  I had to face a similar situation when I went to get my blood red nail paint.
So here is to all the women out there who have ever faced a similar kind of a situation.

New Year~New beginning

Another year passed by and its already 4 days into the New Year, so it’s time to get started with blogging!!
Not to sound too philosophical but in this blog post I would like to share two things that are important to me and matter the most in the world.

1.  Being nice to your parents and family.
Often we tend to forget this. We know that we will always have our parents to guide us, to support us, to love us and to forgive us. But does that give us the right to treat them as we wish? No! They deserve the respect, the time and the love. In our daily lives, we often tend to find ourselves tangled up with a bundle of work, which leaves us with little time for our family. But in spite of that I think we should make it a point to sit down for sometime everyday to talk them and be a part of the family. Parents never ask for anything, they only want us to be happy .So why can we not make an effort to do the same and make them feel needed in our lives.
Laugh with them, share with them your joys and success, hear their problems and also share yours. By doing this, you will not lose out on valuable time but indeed you will build a much stronger bond with them, you will find satisfaction within.

Trust me on this- The blessings of your parents is the most precious gift you can ever ask for. Try to value it and be proud of them.

  2.  One real friend is better than many fake ones.
Now before getting into this, let me clear one thing- this is my personal view point, I know a lot of people who have many good friends. So please don’t be offended by this.

So as I was saying, one real friend is enough to fill the void in your life that was caused by the numerous failed friendships. To trust someone completely is a tough thing to do, but if you can build that trust, no matter where you stay or after how many months you meet, the bonding remains the same. The moment you meet, it feels like it was just yesterday that you last met. He/she becomes like family and you feel free to share anything without thinking twice, without the fear of being judged or mocked upon.  You then don’t feel the urge to go for a huge friend circle, since one is enough.

Okay, so that is basically it. I hope you guys did not get too bored reading this piece.
Be nice to the people you care about the most and you will see that life is much easier to deal with.
Happy new year every one, have a great year ahead.

The complex species - "MEN or WOMEN"

Is it me, or have other people also faced this kind of a situation?

Have you ever had a feeling that you like a guy and even got a vague idea that he might also be interested, only to figure out that he is busy setting up his game with another girl?
I just had!

With all the smart talks, flirting and quick glances don’t let the guys fool you my friends, because just as you start falling for him things will take a reverse turn. First you will have continuous conversation for long hours, texting all day long and sharing every random details of your daily life. And all of a sudden (after a while) you will see he has disappeared, with no text or phone call.

First they will get you into the habit of having them in your life , “Good morning” text , “Good night” text , how was your day , how was you breakfast, lunch, dinner, basically he becomes your freaking personal diary .

And slowly that starts fading away. After getting you totally attached to him he will vanish , because he is “busy” with his work.

Dude! Were you jobless when you started talking in the first place? Suddenly your “work” seems to be extremely important. But then you do have ample free time to go and like some other girls picture on social networking site.

Whom are you fooling , really?

And that is the story most girls have to face .

So all I can conclude is by saying that judging the male species hasn’t been quite the easy deal.  They say women are difficult to understand, I say ‘men are difficult to understand’.

Expect the Unexpected

H
ow often we fall prey to this quote“expect the unexpected” . And probably this is the best way to describe my past few days.

Never did I imagine that, what I thought would be boring and unfruitful  ,would turn out to be such an amazing experience . This is the experience I had in my orientation training , which took place over a span of seven days.  From searching the centre, to awkwardly talking to the neighbouring person, to making an utter fool of ourself during the introduction was  what the first day comprised of.

During tea breaks , the room would turn into a fish market with everyone talking at the top of their voice.
And during lunch , we would sit together and talk about anything and everything under the sun. In which,  commenting on the food given to us would top the list followed by the extremely uncomfortable chairs we had to sit on and the list would go on.

By the time the last day came , we all had realized that this was the last time we are seeing each other until the next training program or tuition class. But that was proven wrong when all of us met on Christmas eve . The evening was filled with laughter and enjoyment , madness and foolishness .

We all parted ways only to meet up soon and have another fun night out . Till then we would keep our insanity with us .

Hope you enjoyed reading this , Happy Holidays everyone . Merry Christmas and a Happy new year.

Inspiration

Dance has always been a passion , a place of happiness , a place where I can escape from everything that is happening around me and feel the soul being free from all restraints.

Though I couldn't take up dance as a profession, my love for dance has not faded one bit.Even now when a song plays, I move with the flow of music and feel the joy of being able to do all that I want to, with no one stopping me.

The best part about dance is that you get to do your own thing, create your own step, your own posture, your very own choreography . Through dance you can depict happiness, sadness, anger, frustration, freedom, love and so much more , all at the same time , through one single piece.

Dance makes me feel alive , makes me feel like I am a part of something bigger, helps me take that leap of faith and gives me the courage to show the world my talent. When I perform on stage, the lights, the audience nothing seems to matter that much. At that time , in front of me is a huge space which I own for the next few minutes and where I can live my life .

I wish sometime in the near future , I will be able to perform on the dream platform and hope to keep the love for dancing alive within me.

Baffled Soul

Have you ever come across a point in your life when you have no idea what to do , where to go , what decision to take next or feel like you can't breathe with so much going on ? I have.

Can't precisely describe the problem but all I know is, it is a cluster of emotions leading to a havoc inside my head.

The point in life when you have to decide what you will do next , what career you will pick is an extremely difficult decision to make. To figure out which is "the" suitable path to choose , what you want to do for the rest of your life is a decision that one has to make with a lot of judgement.

I don't know if I am alone here, or there are others facing this kind of a situation. I know this is not an easy decision to make and even though this feels like a crisis situation , I am sure this phase in my life will pass quickly. And in the end I will be able to make the right choice. :)
